How does the demo wallet work?
The demo starts with a balance of 1000 play coins. This balance is stored in your browser's local storage.
- Restoration: If your balance drops below 10 while idle, you can manually restore it to exactly 1000. This is a manual action, not automatic.
- Fractional Carry: Unspent fractional values from previous rounds persist in local storage across settlements and reloads.
- No Cash Value: These coins are virtual and have no external cash value.
What happens if I reload during a round?
If you reload the page while a round is active, the captured stake remains deducted. The unfinished round ends without refund, payout, or continuation. When you restart, the default stake of 20 is restored, and controls return to their initial state.
How are hazards selected and scored?
Before each round, you select 3, 4, or 5 hazards from a 4×4 board labeled 1–16. The subsets are uniformly sampled from those where the sum of the least common multiple of the two labels for all hazard pairs is divisible by 11.
- Scoring: Each safe reveal divides the current gross value by its exact posterior safe probability.
- Settlement: At settlement, the integer part of the sum of raw gross return and stored fractional carry is credited; the remainder persists.
When can I collect or bank?
You may collect after at least one safe reveal. Individual choices with a gross return above 1000× stake are disabled, while equality is allowed. The game banks automatically only when no eligible uncertain choice remains.
Is there an account or login?
No. This demo has no account flow, no login, and no payment flow. Your progress is stored locally in your browser. Clearing cached files may leave local storage depending on your browser settings.
What about privacy and data?
Your play-coin balance and fractional payout carry are saved in browser localStorage. The page requests Google Fonts resources and sends a visit-counter request to Statinside44. These network requests are separate from the local wallet. The absence of login or payment controls does not establish anonymity or an absence of personal-data processing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I withdraw my virtual coins?
No. The virtual coins in this demo have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. They are used solely for demonstrating the game mechanics.
Does the demo track my identity?
There is no account login. Balance and carry are saved locally, while Google Fonts and Statinside44 receive resource or visit-counter requests. A local wallet does not establish anonymity or exclude other network processing.
What is the expected return?
The expected RTP is 97% across all modes. However, this is a mathematical expectation, not a guaranteed result for any single session. Measured RTPs in simulations may vary slightly due to standard error.
